Sunrise Arizona Bringing the Heat: Climate Emergency Protest

In the past year, an additional 500 Arizonans have died from extreme heat, dozens of heat records have been shattered, and thousands of Arizonans experiencing houselessness have been forced to endure deadly temperatures. Arizona is on the frontlines of this crisis. It’s time Biden starts acting like it. Biden does not have our votes if he can’t protect our vulnerable communities now.
Join Sunrise Movement Phoenix in protest at Maricopa County Democratic Headquarters demanding Biden declare a climate emergency once and for all. Biden must protect us from climate disasters, create green union jobs, and end the fossil fuel era.
For the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the places we call home, the time to act is now. Join us on February 19th, President’s Day, to tell Biden that enough is enough.
